Almond Blossom Festival

The Almond Blossom Festival is always on the last weekend in February.

Southwest side of Highway 99: First week after the
Spring Yard Sale.
(Apr. 28 - Mar. 2)
Northeast side of Highway 99: Second week after the
Spring Yard Sale.
(May 5 - May 9)
The Clean-up collection is to offer residents, within the city limits,
a chance to dispose of large items that are unable to fit in the refuse
containers.
Unfortunately, there are some items we
simply cannot collect.
- Cardboard
/ Newspaper (see "Recycling
Program")
- Loose trash which should be in refuse containers.
- Lumber / Brush and/or yard waste.
- Tree stumps
- Lawn mower that is not drained from gas and/or oil
- Dirt / Sod / Concrete
/ Asphalt
- Car tires (exceeded the allotted amount of 2 per household)
- Dead animals - (Please contact Ripon Animal Control Department
at 599-2102.)
- Commercial Demolition materials
- Glass / Mirrors
- Refrigerator or freezer
- Air Conditioning Units / Hot Tubs / Spas
- Televisions / Computer monitors (exceeded the allotted
amount of 3 per household. Also, see "Computer
and TV Disposal")
- Commercial Business Material
- Batteries
- Tire Rims
- Truck or tractor tires - (For disposal contact: Swier Tire @
599-7512)
- Automobile parts too large
- Paint / Types of chemical / Motor oil
- Commercial Business Material

Computer, TVs, CFLs, and Major Appliances Disposal
The San Joaquin County Lovelace Transfer Station offers free disposal
for homeowners or business in the second Tuesday of each month.
Location: 2323 E. Lovelace Road, Manteca, 95336
