Joint City/School
Recycling Program
The City of Ripon, the Ripon Unified School District, and Bonzi Recycling
have set up a recycling program that benefits the students at Weston,
Ripon, Ripona, Park View, and Colony Oak Elementary Schools.
Take your recyclable items to the Nestle Parking Lot on Industrial Avenue
each Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (except for special events
or holiday weekends.)
The joint City/School program accepts the following:
- cardboard
- newspaper
- mixed paper
- aluminum cans
- glass
- plastic
- beverage containers with (CRV)
- batteries
- computers
- monitors and televisions

Do not dump your trash!
Any load that is contaminated by trash or garbage is rejected, and the
entire load is sent to the landfill at taxpayers' (your) expense.

Warning: Cameras have been installed to catch the trash dumpers.

Thursday - Saturday
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Household Hazardous Waste collection is now in Stockton. Collections
will no longer be held in Ripon. This service is free of charge to county
residents. Also, you can visit the facility's
"Re-use Room" for free partially-used products.

When you Transport:
- Take no more than 15 gallons or 125 pounds per trip
- Never mix chemicals
- Place chemicals in sealed containers
- Transport in trunk
- Pack to avoid spilling
The San Joaquin County drainage ordinance prohibits dumping anything
