Below Market Rate Housing Program (BMR)
|
| Assistance for Qualified Homebuyers |
|
The Below-Market-Rate program is for new construction homes, which are sold below market rate at an affordable price to a qualified household. Resale restrictions apply.
The City of Ripon,
through its BMR Housing Program and Development Agreements, requires developers
to provide a percentage of affordable units in their new construction
residential projects. Qualifying for one of these homes is based on income
limits established by Federal Law (HUD).
For more information,
or to see if you might qualify, contact the Development Specialist at (209)
599-2108, or e-mail sprater@cityofripon.org.
