The City of Ripon is currently accepting submittals for the Construction Bids listed below. Prospective bidders may view and print the packages as needed; however, it is the responsibility of prospective bidders to periodically check the website for any addenda prior to the due date.

Current Construction Projects
MISTLIN SOFTBALL FIELD COMPLEX


The proposed Mistlin Park Softball Complex project includes the construction of four new softball fields along with ancillary facilities, including restrooms, concession stands, and maintenance shed.  The work in general consists of grading, underground, flatwork, electrical, fencing, landscaping/irrigation, plumbing, masonry, finish work, and the installation of the necessary field equipment.

The bid opening is on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Plans and specifications may be purchased at City Hall 259 N. Wilma Avenue Ripon, Ca 95366. SECOND STREET PROJECT


This project includes a reconstruct of the existing alley way north of Second Street between Locust Avenue and Elm Avenue. The installation of a new sewer line and sewer lateral. The project also includes replacing sidewalk, curb and gutter along Second Street and Locust Avenue. The bid opening is on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.

Plans and specifications may be purchased at City Hall 259 N. Wilma Avenue Ripon, Ca 95366. There is a non-refundable charge of $50.00 per set.

MAIN STREET PARKING LOT AND LIGHTING 2011


This project includes demolition of an existing carwash structure. The construction of parking lot along with miscellaneous sidewalk, curb and gutter. The project also includes replacing the existing street lighting along Main Street between Acacia Avenue and Industrial Avenue. Some minor landscaping is also included. The bid opening is on Wednesday, March 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.


Plans and specifications may be purchased at City Hall 259 N. Wilma Avenue Ripon, Ca 95366. There is a non-refundable charge of $50.00 per set.

Strategically placed California Construction Contracting Programs, all located within existing Small Business Development Centers, offer the free training and counseling a small businesses needs to enhance their ability to bid for and WIN public works construction contracts.
