Contractor: Sierra-Nevada Construction

This project involves construction of a new frontage roadway that parallels the south side of Highway 99. The project will begin at Maple Avenue and connect to Garrison Way (near the new Horizon Business Park, west of the Fulton Overpass). The new road will be extended through the existing Fulton Overpass using a pre-cast bridge system.

Update (04/16/2008): Sierra-Nevada has begun construction on this project. As part of this work, the project will include a new bridge structure; which will require the Wilma/Fulton Avenue Overpass be closed for a period of time, while the new structure is being built. However, the Wilma Avenue Roundabout will remain open, with full access to all streets, except the overpass, throughout construction. Construction on the bridge structure has been delayed. Signs will be posted at both sides of the Fulton overpass as soon as a new closure date has been established. Once construction begins the overpass is anticipated to be out of service for approximately ninety (90) days. Please view the detour map for directions while the overpass is out of service.
