The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.


ROLL CALL: Council Members Elden “Red” Nutt, Dean Uecker, Vice Mayor Chuck Winn, Mayor Curt Pernice

Absent: Council Member Michael P. Restuccia



Others Present: City Administrator Leon Compton, Chief Richard A. Bull, City Attorney Tom Terpstra, City Clerk Lynette Van Laar, Deputy City Clerk Jeanne Hall, Recreation Director Kye Stevens, Public Works Director Ted Johnston, Planning Director Ken Zuidervaart, Engineering Secretary Barbara Schneider, Nathan Parks.

RESOLUTION NO. 07-19


RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF

THE CITY OF RIPON ACCEPTING THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR MAIN STREET AND STOCKTON AVENUE

ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT


Planning Director Zuidervaart introduced the Public Review Draft for the Main Street and Stockton Avenue Roadway Reconstruction Project and the Mitigated Negative Declaration. He said he received a few letters from people that they wanted to be sure to receive all the officials notices. He said he also received comments from the Air Board about a few mitigation issues, but it is all taken care of through normal procedures. Zuidervaart said the environmental documents are standard.



MOTION: MOVED, SECONDED (WINN, NUTT) AND CARRIED BY A VOTE OF 4-0 TO ADOPT THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR MAIN STREET AND STOCKTON AVENUE

ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT.


There being no further business, the Special City Council Meeting adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
