Community Assistance Voucher Program

The Ripon Police Department in partnership with the Ripon Ministerial Association offers the Community Assistance Voucher Program. The program offers temporary assistance to those in need of groceries and/or fuel.

Every 15 Minutes Program

The Every 15 Minutes program is a two-day program focusing on high school juniors and seniors about drinking, personal safety, responsibilities and decision making.

Explorer Program

The Ripon Police Department, in conjunction with The Boy Scouts of America, provides an opportunity for young men and women to experience, first hand, how a police department functions.

Junior Police Academy

Designed to introduce Ripon youth age 11-13 years to law enforcement career options, the classes run during the summer months, and give students a chance to explore law enforcement career opportunities in a “hands-on” environment.

Residential Parking Permit Program

The City of Ripon, along with many other cities, faces the on-going challenge of providing adequate on-street parking for both residents and visitors.

Christmas Present Delivery

Every Christmas, the Ripon Police Department partners with local businesses and the community to provide gifts to Ripon families in need of a little extra love and support.

Coffee with a Cop

Annually in October, officers from the Ripon Police Department will spend a few hours in the morning at local coffee shops in town interacting with the public.

Emergency Vehicle Display Show

Ripon Police, Menlo Park Police, and The California Law Enforcement Historical Society conduct an Annual Emergency Vehicle Display Show & Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair.

National Night Out

The Ripon Police Department hosts our annual National Night Out event at the Ripon Community Center on the first Tuesday of August.
