The Jewel of the Valley

The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Commission is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council, the Recreation Director, and the staff in all matters pertaining to public parks and recreation, and to cooperate with other governmental agencies and groups in the advancement of sound recreation and park planning and programming.

The City of Ripon offers a number of recreational activities, and there is something for all ages.

The Parks & Recreation Commission meetings are open to the public and are held every 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Main Conference Room.  Regular agendas are posted 72 hours before a meeting.
