Vacation and Sick leave Buy Out

Vacation Buy Out

Employees have the option, on an annual basis payable once per year each November, to convert up to 40 hours of vacation time for payment.
Employees shall maintain a minimum of 80 hours of vacation to be eligible for payment of accumulated vacation time.

Sick Leave Buy Out

Employees have the option, on an annual basis, to convert six out of the twelve days of unused sick leave for payment. If any sick days are used, these must be subtracted from the sick days that could have been converted. Thirty (30) days of sick leave must remain in accrual after qualifying sick days have been redeemed.
